You could get a session timeout due to
one or more of the following -
* When there is no activity from your browser for approximately
30 minutes, the server times out your login session. This
is to maximize the server peformance. If you get a session
time out message, you can simply re-login.
* You have bookmarked a member's only page and try to directly
access those pages without logging in.
* COOKIES are NOT enabled on your browser.
In Internet Explorer versons 6.x/Windows XP, please check
the following
1. On the menu - Click Tools, Internet Options
2. Click Privacy Tab
3. If you see a Slider bar
By default, this should be set to medium,
if it is all the way at the top, move
it down until the word medium is displayed
4. If you see the word 'Custom'
Click 'Advanced' button,
Check Override automatic cookie handling and
select Accept under both 'First party Cookies' and
"Third party Cookies.
Also, Check "Always allow session cookies"
5. Save and close the dialog window(s)
5. Close all your open IE6 windows, and restart IE
In Internet Explorer versons 5.5 and below, please check
the following
1. On the menu - Click Tools, Internet Options
2. Click Security Tab
3. Select 'Internet' (Globe picture)
4. Click 'Custom Level' button
5. Under 'Cookies' section, make sure -
"Allow cookies that are stored on your computer"
is Enabled
"Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" is Enablled
In Netscape Navigator, please check the following
1. On the menu - Click Edit, Preferences
2. Click 'Advanced' under Category
3. Under 'Cookies' - Make sure your selection is NOT 'Disable
Cookies'
Other Browsers/Versions, please check the Browser Help
and enable both persistant and session cookies
